Parish Church

The old parish church of St Crida is nowadays not really used, having been superceded by the newer church at Grampound, for which Creed was the old churchtown. The edifice dates mainly from the 15th century when the earlier structure was enlarged to its present size. There are Norman remains inside, and a 13th century font. The western tower is in three stages and was rebuilt in 1734.
